These Behavior and
Training Seminars bring behavior science to both professional
trainers and companion animal owners. The focus of the seminars
is to provide participants with the tools to address behavioral
issues and training challenges in the most ethical manner possible through the choice of
the most positive, least intrusive procedure from the hierarchy
of possible interventions - effectiveness alone is not
sufficient to recommend a procedure.
While the
unpinning science is common across species the seminars are
available that focus on several families of species. For the pet
parrot owner the focus is parrots. For the volunteer or
professional working with raptors, the focus is raptors.
The seminars range
from an introductory one hour presentation through to whole days
with practical exercises. It is our goal to be flexible and to
work with you to bring a presentation that fits your needs. If
you have a special requirement please do not hesitate to
contact us.
